The Process:

Simple, Clear, and Homeowner-Friendly.

1

Quick intake

You tell me about your Project or your Problem — leak symptoms, layout changes you're considering, contractor quotes you've received, photos if you have them, timeline concerns, and property location. We confirm I'm in your service area and find a time that works.

2

On-site visit (most jobs: 45–120 minutes)

I inspect the relevant areas and document findings with photos. Time on site depends on roof size, complexity (multiple levels, dormers, valleys), access, and the problem type.

Typical onsite: 1–2 hours. Complex roofs or multiple concerns can run longer.
3

At-home analysis + report (most jobs: 60–180 minutes)

After the visit, I organize photos, write clear explanations, and lay out practical recommendations. This is where the “why” gets translated into a plan you can actually use.

Typical report time: 1–3 hours. More photos/issues = more report time (and better clarity for you).
4

Deliverables + next steps

You receive a summary with photos and recommendations. If you’re comparing contractors, I’ll give you the questions to ask and what to insist is included in scope.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell roofing or materials.
  • I don’t take kickbacks or referral fees.
  • I don’t “diagnose” without evidence—if access limits certainty, I’ll say so.

What you can expect

  • Clear explanation of what matters most
  • Photos that support the conclusion
  • Prioritized recommendations
  • Practical, homeowner-level language

Clear Homeowner Expectations

If we both know what’s happening, everything goes smoother. Here’s what to expect—and what not to.

Before the visit

  • Send any contractor quotes, photos, and leak history if you have them.
  • Let me know about access (locked gates, steep driveways, dogs, attic entry).
  • We’ll set a window for arrival and confirm the address.

During the visit

  • I’ll inspect and document—sometimes that means quiet focus for a bit.
  • If something is unsafe (pitch/access/weather), I won’t force it.
  • I’ll explain what I’m seeing in plain language as we go.

After the visit

  • You’ll get photos + recommendations you can forward to contractors.
  • You’ll know what’s urgent, what can wait, and what’s probably an upsell.
  • If uncertainty exists due to access limits, I’ll be direct about it.

What this saves you

  • Paying for the wrong repair
  • Signing a vague scope
  • Getting stuck in “he said / she said”
  • Stress, time, and expensive surprises
